I remember reading this quote (in my old house, sat at the dining table) and it hitting me like a ton of bricks. How many things have I not tried because I didn’t want to lose this veneer of perfection, of being bright, of knowing all the things? But we mustn’t regret missed opportunities but nor must we waste a minute more worrying about appearances – get that mud between your toes, make mistake and find out what you’re really capable of.
